Refund policy
Surf Retreat
If the client decides to cancel their reservation, Classic Surf Retreat must be notified at least thirty (30) days prior to the start date of the booking. In this case, the client is entitled to a refund of the amount paid, minus a $1,000 MXN administrative fee.
If the cancellation is notified less than thirty (30) days before the start date, the client will not be entitled to a refund. In this case, the amount paid will be kept as credit for a future booking within a period not exceeding one year, during which the client may select a new date to attend the surf retreat, subject to availability.
If the cancellation is notified less than seven (7) days before the arrival date or the start of the retreat, the client will receive no refund or credit, and the payment will be considered a cancellation penalty.
Classes and Activities
Our services include surf lessons, longboard lessons, and other ocean activities, which depend on external factors such as weather conditions, ocean conditions, and safety requirements.
Additionally, activities such as horseback riding and visits to the natural hot springs may also be affected by weather conditions. If weather conditions do not allow these activities to take place safely, the schedule or activity may be rescheduled or adjusted to ensure the safety and best experience for participants.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Classes may be rescheduled if weather conditions are not safe or suitable for the activity.
When a cancellation occurs due to weather conditions, safety reasons, or a decision by the surf school, the client will have the right to reschedule the class at no additional cost.
Rescheduling will be subject to availability of schedules and spots.
Client Cancellations
Cancellations made with short notice may not be eligible for a refund.
In these cases, the surf school may offer the possibility to reschedule the class, subject to evaluation and availability.
No-Show Policy
If a client does not attend the scheduled class without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
In exceptional and properly justified situations, the surf school may evaluate the possibility of rescheduling, although this is not guaranteed.
Surfboard Care Policy
During lessons, participants are expected to handle all equipment with care and respect. Normal wear from regular surf use is expected.
However, if a surfboard is damaged due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the instructor’s guidance, the client will be required to cover the cost of repair or an applicable penalty depending on the damage caused.
By participating in the lesson, the client agrees to use the provided equipment responsibly.
